Some nights I still can't sleep, the past rolls back, I can see us, still.

Jojen has an ability - the power of greendreams - that allows him to see the past, present and future through prophetic visions. They're not always as straight forward as say "buy Apple stocks" way back when but can also present themselves as more curious things. He might not dream of Apple booming, but instead see an apple tree growing strong whilst the other trees around it die, etc etc. But he also has vividly detailed visions too. Point is, little dude has these visions.

Why am I talking at you too much about Jojen Reed? Well, I want to know:

Is it okay to have Jojen have greendreams/visions about your character?

Past, present or future things may show themselves to him and it can be a super easy way to strike up new CR!

If you do allow me to play with this, I'll probably run it by you just as a double-check to make sure everything is cool. If all of this is okay, please reply below, otherwise I will assume that you wish to opt out.

I grew up with a book in my bed; I got these dark circles before I turned ten.

Personality:

"A knight is what you want. A warg is what you are. You can't change that, Bran, you can't deny or push it away. You are the winged wolf, but you will never fly." Jojen got up and walked to the window. "Unless you open your eye." He put two fingers together and poked Bran in the forehead, hard.

The little grandfather is what Jojen is dubbed and it's very apt for how he behaves. He behaves sort of like the wisened old wizard until you realise that he's not an old wizard. His demeanor is that of someone much older and much more jaded towards the world. Of course, he's not just some biter kid; Jojen Reed is simply knowledgeable to the word. He carries himself in a way that makes him seem both older and more intelligent to things than he really is.

These "street smarts" make him seem sullen or solemn. The root of these "street smarts" are the greendreams he has due to being a greenseer. The dreams he's had have shown him many things, in the past, in the present miles away and even in the future. He's even seen his own fate. Due to his greendreams, it is hard to rile the boy up. He has a oddly calm presence to him even in moments of strife. Most would consider his behaviour cocky, but it's not without warrant, his greendreams have allowed him to be such. He knows his fate and greendreams do not lie.

So he has an oddly chill air about him that makes him come across strange. Of course, strange isn't an inaccurate word to describe him either, for he is very strange, in his behaviour, with his power, and his acceptance of fate. Jojen is far more responsible than most his age. It is not only because of the fact that Bran and his sister are counting on him as he is counting on them, but he also has the weight of nearly dying once from greywater fever and nearing his death as he helps Bran further on his own quest. He's had to mature quickly and accept the sort of green baby obi-wan role with his dignity in tact. With this maturity came the ability to handle his responsibilities well.

Loyalty is another strong trait of Jojen's. He is loyal both to those he has sworn fealty to and to his blood. Time and time again he has proven himself to both Bran and his sister Meera. While most consider a fighting hand more valuable than anything, Jojen offers his counsel instead to Bran, helping him learn more about his powers and what actions he should take. A sickly child warrior will do no one any help, so he aims to do what he does best - and that is help.

It's no secret that Jojen favours knowledge over brute strength. He uses his wit to his advantage and prefers the company of a good book or a story to a battle. It does't hurt that he's amassed a wealth of knowledge from his greendreams. He leaves the fighting to his sister for the most part. This all said, Jojen does have a sense of humour and an odd glimmer of childishness tucked away. It's no doubt that his favour of stories roots from that very part of him. But he has a friendly air of light humour to him every so often when it comes to him and Bran. Showing that he is very much a person.

He seems to believe in the trudge forward no matter what so you're not dragged backwards method. He puts a fierceness into his mission of getting his friend where he needs to be instead of dwelling on his own demise and allowing himself to get unmotivated and depressed. It is't until he gets Bran where he needs to that he seems to get more withdrawn and upset. He seems to simply want to accept his fate, get it done and over with and return home.

Jojen’s eyes were a dark green, the color of moss, but heavy with a weariness that Bran had never seen in them before. The little grandfather. South of the Wall, the boy from the crannogs had seemed to be wise beyond his years, but up here he was as lost and frightened as the rest of them.

Abilities:

Greensight / Greendreams

Jojen has greensight, the power of prophetic greendreams.

Basically, he can see the past, present and future in his dreams (greendreams). They also sometimes manifest seizures. The dreams can be straight-forward or vague in the "that makes sense" after the fact sort of way (i.e. seeing a Greyjoy as the sea).

Other than that, Jojen isn't really good with weapons and is pretty sickly, so...

When deep green eyes opened, they didn't open to feel relieved or rested - they opened with the same dark circles under them. Jojen may have been asleep but he did not rest, in all honesty, the boy couldn't remember closing his eyes. It didn't make him nervous, however. He was used to being so worn thin blinking turned to rest. What the thirteen year old wasn't used to was awakening in a room so odd looking, and on a bed he'd consider far more comfortable than any he'd been on in a while.

The chill that reached down and wrapped around his bones was not one he was unused to but the coldness of the floor on his bare feet etched a frown in his features when they found the floor.

"Meera?" His voice was quiet and cautious. He wasn't to die, not yet. Instead of pulling himself off the bunk, the boy glanced down to the floor, observing its craftsmanship oddly. Fear tinged somewhere deep under his skin, but he pushed it back, and instead reached for his shoes - discarded by someone other than him - next to his bed. If he was going to be caught off guard, he would not be doing it barefoot with the possibility of having to leave his shoes behind. He just wanted to go home.

"Hello?" He wasn't used to feeling like such a fish out of water, not when it came to knowledge of the situation he was in.
